sols powers, while mostly being light and heat based, also extend to the mind!! she has minor like... hypnosis and mind control powers, especially in regards to emotions. its a symbolism thing-- rue feelings and emotions coming to light or changing because someone else illuminated new things about them!!

she cant DIRECTLY mind control people, or make them do things they wouldnt do in the first place, but she can... emphasize different feelings, or turn every emotions dial up to eleven and all that
