“That’s it, that’s it…”

The moon shone brightly, illuminating the busy city below. It was pure, white and unadulterated, though only for a moment. A field of red enveloped the buildings, reaching to the sky as bursts of energy shot through the ominous bounded field.

Rin stood at the edge of a high rising tower, leering at the fainting people below her. The bounded field continued to expand, drawing out the energy of everything it touched. The once busy city became dull and eerie, gaining a red hue to match the amused eyes of the girl.

“Only moments away… How exciting.” She gave a faint giggle, turning away from the dead streets, entwining her fingers with her Servant’s. “I hope you’ll enjoy what is to come, Karna.” She murmured, beaming up at him. Yes, this would certainly be a worthy gift for someone like him, and an even worthier source of entertainment.

“Karnaaaa…~”

A soft voice echoed throughout the Tohsaka manor, heels lightly clicking against the wooden floor. There were a lot of things on Rin’s mind when she woke up, especially the pain in her chest that never seemed to go away, but there was one thing in particular that she wanted to do before anything else. How would Karna react to her new look, she wondered? She was sure he could already feel the surge in mana supply, so he must be happy, right? Now he can do whatever he wanted, battle whomever he wanted, without worry of burdening her ever again.

She blushed lightly, almost waltzing through the hallways, the thought of his happiness making her heart flutter. She’d do anything for him, anything at all, and this change would certainly benefit him in every way. He must’ve been so frustrated by her, so disappointed by the limitations she put on him. Well, now she would revoke everything-- She was strong, the grail’s power coursed through her veins, and limits were for the weak anyways. “Karna…~?” She cooed again, looking around a corner for the pale Servant.

She raised her hand, lazily drawing her nails across the walls of her house. “You know… I don’t like to be kept waiting…” She smiled, her calm facade only broken by the nails that dug into the wall, leaving a trail of missing paint and broken pieces of drywall. He usually came to her right away when she called for him, what was the hold up this time? Growing impatient, her tone became sharper as she called out for him once more, looking around the living room. 

“Come out; that’s an order.”

who’s the cuddler: Karna, totally. He’d be the one to initiate most forms of physical affection, as Rin would usually be too preoccupied or busy. 

who makes the bed: Karna, being a Servant and all y’know. 

who wakes up first: Karna, gotta greet the sun/dad. 

who has the weird taste in music: Hmm… Neither, I doubt either of them listen to music that much anyways.

who is more protective: Probably Karna? They’d both be very protective of each other, but I feel like since Rin is significantly weaker than him, he’d end up being far more protective and concerned for her safety.

who sings in the shower: Neither, I can’t see either of them singing. They’re both deep thinkers who’d probs use their shower time for shower thoughts.

who cries during movies: Rin more-so than Karna, as she is more emotional than him, but that’d be rare regardless.

who spends the most while out shopping: Rin, she loves spoiling Karna with clothes and gifts, and sometimes you just have to buy a gem…

who kisses more roughly: Rin would probably be more known to be rough, but I think if Karna got serious or really into it, he’d be capable of being rougher than her and then really apologetic later on ffs.

who is more dominant: Rin, no doubt. She’d still be his Master after all, and her personality isn’t something one can take lightly. Plus, Karna is quite compliant with her, so she’d take charge most of the time.

A pout was placed firmly on her lips, her eyes averted away from Karna. She hadn’t noticed a moment ago, when she was more preoccupied with her confusing feelings and esteem issues, but now that her mind was a little clearer, she noticed what her Servant was wearing. Not his usual armor get up, and not the suits she bought him on the whim, but a more casual look that seemed to fit him quite well. Did he come up with that by himself, or did she buy that for him without even knowing? She really did spend a lot on him for some reason, so she wouldn’t be surprised if it was the latter, but if it was the former… Well, she certainly had to say something about that, if only to let him know that he should continue this sense of fashion. ”Y-You look nice… Did you pick out this outfit yourself?” She mumbled, almost hoping that he couldn’t make out her words as she could already feel her ears getting quite warm. Didn’t she say she was going to try and avoid embarrassing situations from now on? Complimenting him like this definitely wasn’t part of the plan, but she supposed her reasoning was valid enough. Really though, the clothes fit him so well. Even if his armor was skin tight, he looked much better in casual clothes, as they added a sense of normality to his already strange existence. She was just used to seeing good looking men wearing these kind of clothes, so his appearance finally clicked together in her head, which was probably a bad thing now that she thought about it considering how hard it was for her to resist staring dumbly at him.

She merely made sure to keep a few paces ahead of him though, giving herself no other option but to stare straight ahead, as it would be too obvious otherwise. “Huh? You were thinking about taking me out for lunch without even knowing where to go? What were you thinking? Honestly! So irresponsible…” She scoffed, shaking her head before she opened the door to step out. As… ‘Irritated’ as she seemed by his words, she was quite thankful that he didn’t know where to go, since she had something else to focus on now. Which cafe to go to, how to get there… As much as she tried to draw out such issues in her mind, it was of no help that she already knew where to go, and had already memorized how to get there. There really was only one good cafe around here, and she wasn’t that big of a socialite to know of any others. She looked from left to right as she stood outside of her gate, sighing for a moment before turning right. “Remember the route! I’m only going to show you the way once, okay?” She stated over her shoulder, looking back at him briefly.
