last night the beach actually had people...it’s almost the 4th of july. is why.
it started to rain as soon as 8pm hit, aka, as soon as the moon rose...
but look at this pretty strawberry pre-moon sunset-y rainbow that was provided instead for us islanders
4 years ago today, I was admitted to the hospital for (hopefully) the last time. As we drove into the ER parking lot, we saw a sky-arching rainbow in the glow of the sunset. In that moment, I felt something I hadn’t felt in years: Hope. That isn’t to say, things got better instantly. But it was a moment when I realized that maybe things wouldn’t be that way forever. Things will not be this way forever. Here’s to wishing you rainbows over all your psych wards 😘🌈✨
