I never understand the reluctance of so many to get out into nature. In doing so, we pull away from the flood of information and creature comforts, and expose ourselves to the extremes of the wilds. This temporary discomfort is rewarded with a refreshing of the spirit, cleansing of the mind, and regeneration of a balanced outlook. Life without time in nature is destined for stress, anxiety and all-consuming worry. Nature restores our wonder and renews our understanding of just how great God is. Nature washes us clean and makes us whole again. Nature heals us. Nature points us to the Creator.
Today God blessed me with my first sunset moonrise. In so my spirit was renewed most noticeably with a gasp in awe. I snapped this pic of my first sunset moonrise on Chief Joseph Scenic Byway, just over Heart Mountain outside Cody, Wyoming.
