Hehe. Unfortunately I think my days of writing vampire comedies ended when I failed to finish that thinly veiled Twilight parody that I had begun writing a few pages before that line appeared. I thought it was so hilarious at the time. It was going to star my paranormal investigator OC as he investigates a case brought to him by a high school girl convinced that her friend's new foreign exchange boyfriend was a vampire and was worried for her safety. The vampire was some kind of model, which may or may not play into the vampires not showing up in photographs thing, though I remember being unsure about that bit since that didn't even apply to Twilight vampires. The #2 pencil thing probably would have been the resolution, but of course I never got that far.
