What are your favorite Din headcanons (shippy or not?)
Din is trans and bi, whether he's a trans man or nonbinary depends on the day for me
He can sew and has sewn stuff for Grogu
When he was younger he had a really rough time on Tatooine and was patched up by a group of Tuskens and had to stick with them while he healed. That's why he actually knows Tusken and isn't scared of them like... everyone else
Maybe this is just me liking political fantasies and projecting that onto Din, but I think he'd be really good at like, the domestic side of being Mand'alor. Like he's not a good talker but he knows a lot of languages, can mediate relatively well, and after being exposed to Bo-Katan "im gonna put as much venom in my voice when i say 'Child of the watch'" Kryze, he'd try his best to make sure all sorts of Mandalorians are comfortable on Mandalore. Also it'd be very funny to see him cut through the political bs and just say his opinion
But I'm also perfectly fine with him saying "no" and just continuing living his best bounty hunter life, but also with the darksaber.
I definitely don't think he'd be the type to be a king until he's old. Once someone who's worthy as a successor, he'll go back to exploring the galaxy or maybe settling down with a certain marshal, or jedi, or other bounty hunter, or so on
He uses things to the point of them breaking down except for his weapons. If it can be held together with Space Duct Tape, he'll still use it, even though the average person would've thrown it out and bought a new one
For dinluke, as he spends more time at the jedi school, he's the one to help around doing odd jobs. And Luke is initially very "you're a guest!" but Din is like "you spend your time teaching, Im going to help around whether you give me a list or not" and Luke's like "fine"
For dincobb, Din can usually rely on his helmet for hiding his Dramatic Pining for people, in this case Cobb, but Cobb wore Boba's armor for so long, he knows how visibility in the helmet works, so it's not at all secret pining
For bobadin, I just really like the idea of Din being the silent presence behind Boba to the point where people think it's just another set of armor but then Din moves and freaks ppl out (also late night armor painting sessions)
He deserves a good cuddle, platonic or romantic, PLEASE let this man be held
