Had my first flight lesson today (finally!). I've wanted to learn to fly for over a decade and this was the first step. Holy cow...I've done some exhilarating things before but this tops it all. I almost cried with sheer joy and excitement flying by myself (with a killer instructor who did take off/landings and talked me through EVERYTHING). 🛩️ I flew over #folsomprison and #folsomlake & saw the snowy #sierramountains from 4k feet and practiced turning on a runway. . I'm literally going to be unbearable to be around for a while because this is all I wanna do now.
