Solstice morning I turned my DIY Wheel-of-the-Year to Suntide (summer solstice) and then went into the backyard to pick from what was in flower and make a vase for the altar.
Vase includes yarrow, rocket larkspur, California poppy, Rose campion, a carrot blossom, and a stem of foxglove. I wore disposable gloves for cutting the foxglove, as the toxins are in the leaves of the plant.
