looking through old blogs, the really nice thing about old tumblr i think we've lost is that nobody was chasing clout on here back in the day
followers, notes, tumblr fame, yes, but nobody was on here trying to give the impression that their irl lives were amazing
i knew we posted a lot about feeling lonely, tumblr friends being better than fakebook friends, tfw no bf, not wanting to grow up, being foreveralone and feeling insecure, and shared deeply personal things in text posts (that inevitably got 2 notes max on a good day), but i'd forgotten just how much and how... freely
but at some point a lot of us kind of turned into... redditors or something, and started hiding our fears and trying to cultivate an image on here, and that's really a shame
being able to really share on here was so nice and i miss that

Kiba’s name means fang doesn’t it? His signature move is called Fang Over Fang. He literally named his signature move “Akamaru over me”. If that ain’t brotp material I don’t know what is.
They say prostitution is the oldest profession, but that can't be true. You have to pay for services rendered, but in order to pay with money or goods you have to have a job to obtain those payments.

exactly exactly exactly
... although it occurs to me that by that logic the kids are also Game constructs, given that they were created in the same lab as the carapaces. Huh.
Fluffy thoughts
As my dachshund puppy awoke and regained her hyperness she begged me to pet her, and pet her some more, and continue petting her. Then I thought about the act of petting animals and that we call them pets and I wondered what use of the word came first. Did we call them pets because we pet them? Or are the two uses of the word coincidence and the term "pet" is meant as a term of endearment that is not related to the action. Since a man might call a woman a pet, in some earlier decade. And if it is because of the action of petting them, could they have equally as likely been called scratches or rubs?
feeling awkward bidding on stuff on ebay from users whose addresses are only a few suburbs away from me. i mean what if i win it, wear it out and they see me in it?
