A video on Super Movers!!!!!! I forgot to share this here yesterday but I really recommend this channel! This is one of the three videos that's only been uploaded as of me posting this, but the editing and humor and how information is presented is very good and high quality. There's definitely a lot of work and effort put into this.
If you like Athena P's videos I think you'd enjoy this channel too (plus he mentioned in another video that he watches Athena P, so his interests could be similar of that sort)
I'll be rambling below but go watch and support the channel!!
Anyway the video itself is really great and presented a lot of info I've never heard before. I'm guessing they're available if digging through the Movers social media, especially their old posts.
First off I wasn't aware of the unnamed animation project. I know of the storyboards but I thought that was just for planning their title sequence.
Then the time travel concept!! I've seen it as posters for their tour but didn't know they were originally concepts for an animation. And the robot! I gotta remember to draw that sometime.
There are some concept art I've never seen of Super Movers! That's so cool to know.
Also I don't remember where I seen it but I was sure that whoever runs the Movers social media at that time said the gal wasn't meant to be Nina. But I can't find the comment and it's hard to navigate without logging on IG.
Anyway I'm so looking forward to his future in-depth video on the Movers, and all other videos on general!!

Concept: The Imagination Movers, the preschool super-group from the hit Disney Junior series of the same name, are getting animated—quite literally. In this new comedic preschool series, the musical quartet’s members find themselves as accidental superheroes. Rich, known for having a motor-mouth, gets the power of super speed. Sensitive Scott finds he is able to move things with his mind. Natural-born klutz Dave can turn into a super gummy bear, while rubber-limbed Smitty gets the gift of super stretch. And through their adventures, they help preschoolers discover their own “super powers.” Ex-Pixar talent Jason Boose oversaw character design and is art directing the entire series.
suddenly really wish that super movers had at least a pilot available, just wanted more to work with.
i'm gonna go see if there's more info on the production of the cartoon. if we're lucky, artists and animators and whoever worked on it might include concept arts and stuff in their portfolio
i kinda like the designs for the guys in supermovers but why's dave hair yellow . i don't think it's blond that's straight up neon yellow hahah
they gave smitty a "🥺" face,,, his eyes are so shiny and his cheeks are like really red. he's always blushing lol they made him with resting adorable face
rich looks like an already existing cartoon character but i can't really think of an example (he just has that typical male cartoon protag design to me haha)
I don't really have anything to say with Scott's design, the long hair is iconic to his character but I guess it's based on that era of the movers (?). I'd only have an opinion whether they made him with a similar (or the same) personality as him in the live action series or not because I cannot imagine a non burro-loving adorable Scott (but we'll never know lol)
i think they mentioned somewhere that the girl character isn't nina but nah that's nina,,, c'mon, they portrayed the movers and nina have such a close wholesome friendship and you don't expect me to believe they would be with each other in every universe?? (/lighthearted) the character even got red/pink in their design, i simply would like to believe that is nina and she's the Movers' DJ/ composer/ manager or something haha 😌 oh wait nevermind the character is purple. well in this universe nina's signature colour is purple and she drives that mecha van thing👍
the blue hamster thing is cute tho.
also i'd like to know more about that ourple villain guy with the kitty ninjas
