Well I wanted to sleep but I managed to find me a book with such a perfect reveal that I broke out in goosebumps and had to finish the last twelve percent or whatever, and of course now I have to lay in bed and think about it and decide if the couple of extremely sarah-janet-esque overdramatic fragment plus paragraph breaks that jarred me out of otherwise flowy and absorbing prose was worth docking .25 points or if I'm gonna change that tomorrow

...is a post explaining what Polari is (SPOILER ALERT: It’s a gay secret language) with a link to an article with a shortfilm of two gay men speaking Polari in the 60′s- you know - before the Wolfenden report led to repeal of sodomy laws in the UK and having a secret language was absolutely necessary for reasons of basic safety (see also this post)
