Last night @malcolmxing tagged me for the 6 selfie challenge. Here are some of my favorites from 2015. I cant believe that I'm saying that I have favorite selfies. Never thought I would say that!

I used to be very insecure about how I looked. Puberty will do that to anyone. I was too short. I always had bags under my eyes. My nose was too prominent. My ears too big. My hair had a stupid cowlick. The list went on.

But finally, eventually, I decided I liked how I looked, that I didn’t really need someone else to tell me how to feel about myself. I can’t say I’m completely, all the time 100% self sufficient with my self-confidence, but I’m much more comfortable than I used to be being me. So when you see someone else posting selfies, keep in mind they might finally be happy with themselves, they might have had image issues in the past, they might be expressing a satisfaction with how they look now. Of course there is such a thing as too many selfies, but that’s not what I’m making this post about now.
