it starts here, if you want to read it....!

it took 2 months of near-constant preparation, planning and drawing. I had to pull off many marathons and demand a lot of extensions just to squeeze it in before the deadline, but despite all that, I lost.  When I was told why, it was because the judges didn't pick up what I was trying to convey with it. I don't think I could pull off something that brutal again, but I do want to continue making comics in the future. @3@

I mean, the thing about my style is that... it's not exactly cute.. or is it beautiful or soft. It's somewhat cartoony, but not in a way that actually looks like a cartoon.It's not exactly beastly either. It's not edgy, it's not striking, it's not really any of these things. It feels like some awkward sort of middle ground. I don't know where it belongs, because it doesn't feel like it does. It's just a very bizarre feeling, sorry ;3;
