Do you mean you are against people who identify with supersexualities, or are you against, like, gay people for not being opposite sex attracted?
CW for transphobia, transmisogyny
Sry idk how long this was in my ask box but I’m not entirely sure what you’re asking. People who claim to be superstraight/gay/etc are just treating trans people as a monolith and excluding them completely from their dating pool. I don’t take issue with people having a preference for cis people, that’s fine. I take issue with people acting as if they know what all trans people are like and thinking they could never be attracted to a trans person. I’ve talked to a lot of trans exclusionary folks (supersexualities and terfs alike) and when you get them to talk about why exactly they exclude all trans people from their dating pools, they’re doing it for transphobic reasons. A perfect example of this was a conversation I had with someone who legitimately considered himself a superstraight. His supposed reason for calling himself a superstraight was that he was a straight man who wanted to marry a woman who he could have children with. Now that’s perfectly fine on it’s own, but when I asked him what he would do if he fell in love with a cis woman who was infertile, he did not stick to his reasoning and said he would marry her anyways. When I brought up the hypothetical possibility of trans women being able to carry children in the future, he still refused to consider the possibility of finding a trans woman attractive. When I pointed out the flaws in his reasoning, he resorted to sending me images of trans women’s post op genitals while telling me they were disgusting. Although I’ve not had many people go that far in arguments with me, many other “supersexuals” and terfs have shared the same or similar sentiments in arguments both with me and with others. This is why I include them both in my DNI list.
