The U.S. just recorded its first confirmed measles death in 12 years

The woman, who died in spring, most likely contracted the virus from a health facility in Clallam County, Washington.

This illustrates the importance of vaccinating your children because not only are you protecting them from a premature death, you’re also contributing to herd immunity so others like this woman, who was on immunosuppressive drugs, are also protected. Other folks with suppressed immune systems: babies, the elderly, those undergoing chemotherapy for cancer, those receiving bone marrow transplants, those with AIDS, the list goes on and on. Imagine killing a baby because you didn’t want to vaccinate your child due to fear tactics spread by anti-vaxxers. Imagine it. 

How many deaths must be caused by the efforts of anti-vaxxers before they stop spreading their lies? There will come a point where anti-vaxxers should be labeled as terrorists and tried as criminals (imo it’s already reached that point). 

Here are the facts: vaccines do not cause autism. vaccines do save lives. and a drop in vaccination rates kills.
