My dear friend passed away yesterday.

We had been friends since we were 15 yo. He was an artist. He was quiet and smart. I liked his sense of humor. He was everyone's best friend. He was so important for all of us. I can't believe I won't be seeing him again. We're gonna miss him dearly. Nothing will be the same without him.

I hear myself say within my head, "I can't believe he's gone."
