Actually, I'm not too sure about this guy's shoulder pads. I think they might need re-designing, but I'm having that annoying thing where I can't decide what specifically it is that I think is wrong...

I did do a little experiment when I drew the buildings. Insofar as we see any of them in the TES lore, the Argonians’ own society usually seems to be depicted in a vaguely Mayan aesthetic (which is weird, because surely if anyone the Khaijit would be more obvious for that? I mean, Jaguar and so on, right?). So I tried to make the skyscrapers look maybe a little bit step pyramid-ish. And the various collections of pipes and comms masts on top were supposed to echo a little the horns a lot of Argonians have. And it looks like that attempt at a bit of resonance has worked, which is great.

And a Nirn root in a pot was just too much to resist :)

The big surprise, actually, was the fighter jets. I’ve never drawn those before, but I actually really enjoyed doing them here, and I could imagine myself getting into that.

Thank you, I’m glad you liked the shadows! They’re by far one of my weakest things, so I’m relieved that they look okay. And the background just sort of exploded, really. (I was using a one-point perspective here, and I realised that the point was somewhere above the balcony wall, so *something* would have to be visible, and it went from there.)
