I’m sorry, I don’t have Inquisition but… Why is everyone an elf? And why did everyone name their elves Lavellan? Is this...

I have an elf, a human and a Qunari so far, and the reason they're all called Lavellan is because that's their last name (like Hawke in DA2) everyone has different first names.

Also given the race and gender gating for some of the romances there are reasons why people are preferring elves -- if you're a qunari you've only really got three options. If you're a human woman you have five, if you're an elven woman you have six.

No problem! [: I'll also add that the bad things you heard of N52 come from people who don't like change or have gotten so used to characters that it sucks to see their stories tweaked. But not all the characters got re-written, some are still exactly the same except costume design. Also, if you've never read old comics, then you won't notice or get upset with changes in the N52 like me ^_^ you'll love it haha

Ah, I never thought about it like that! Looking back, many people who told me to never read N52 were the ones who were picky of their favorites changing. (which is understandable) You’ve actually changed my views on N52.

Seeing that I’m new to the comic book world, I’m sure I’ll enjoy various amounts of comics from N52!

I'm not sure if you're interested in any N52 or if you don't care and just want to start JLD/Hell-Blazer but I suggest just starting in the new-52 [: The comics are currently around their 35th issue so it's not like you'd be far behind if you jumped in now, Justice League Dark and Constantine are really good in my opinion. Though I must add that I've never read any Dark/HellBlazer before the new 52 :x
