Imagine if Netflix actually cared. Imagine if they put a full stranger things level budget towards Q-force being live action instead of a shitty cartoon. Full props and merchandise. Actors that can properly portray what's a joke and what's offensive but still there. Imagine a timeline where Superdrags was a full ass tokusatsu with fucking henshin sequences and everything.

We truly live on the worst timeline.

Super Drags

Unpopular Opinion: I loved it.

This was when one of our superheroes was stuck in conversion therapy to convince his dad to let him come home. He missed his little sister and was doing it all to see her again.

This shot of a fairy godmother drag queen gifting heels to this pretty lil black boy is amazing.

Are there a couple dozen too many penises wildly windmilling all willy nilly? Maybe. But the narrative, character development, and morals are... on point.

This silly ass show somehow managed to address or at least touch on topics of homophobia (obviously), Self esteem, conversion therapy, family rejection after coming out, misogyny, superficiality & fatphobia in the dating scene, toxic masculinity, racism, being true to yourself, chosen families...

I loved it.

Superdrags

I honestly love this show, I may not personally know too much about Brazillian politics, but I think this show is a great adult amination comedy!

This show not only reminds me about:

Totally Spies

Power Rangers

Powerpuff Girls

but also Panty and Stocking

which was another adult comedy.

I think we all have to remember that it’s a cartoon and cartoons don’t always represent things to the point, but are great for lesson learning and human experiences.

But again that’s my opinon and I would love the second season to come out sooner!!
