ORIENTAL STYLE IN CASUAL

I and my colleague Johny from Aberdeen store had so much fun yesterday. We got very cool range of men’s dress shirt and I decided to play with two absolutely different styles and bring the new spirit to your casual wardrobe. This season AW 14/15 is full of freedom at Superdry. I liked the idea of Relaxed Formal runways this year. Also double dress shirt is creating nonchalant approach that gives the whole outfit some sort of rebellion scenario. Comfy jumper underneath comes quite handy these cold days. So if it’s not rainy get a new order how to wear different pieces together. Do not stick with the crowd because individuality is a the main key to be unique on the streets. And superdry is going to make it happen.

 FESTIVAL STYLE

Because the festival season is on the way I decided to create more outfits to show we offer every style you can think of. The great deal is in combaining simple pieces.

The 90's are back and Punk / Grunge scenario is pretty cool combination to me. Looking at the one where the clothes has been used as a way of making statement and on the other side is Grunge which is about not making statement therefore it is why it's crazy for it to become a fashion statement this year. In 90's Grunge disdained or just didn't care about the hierarchies of fashion. It played with loosey - goosey with gender ( androgyny). Women's hair was straight usually styled with short cut, known as a Hime cut. The long dresses become popular for a day and evening wear. The strong make up is adopted from Punk.Satchel bag is ready to be stocked up with beauty bag where u will find everything you need for this look ( nail paint, lip glaze, eye pencil, eye shadows). Premium denim jacket is super comfy and easy to match with other festival outfits that we offer. Lace panel maxi dress in eclipse navy is beautifly shaped and 94% cotton + 6% elastane is even more comfy for the festival. SO LET'S ROLL :)

VINTAGE AMERICANA

Superdry is bringing the old vintage spirit of America. We have a great Worn Wash Denim collection which includes rebel jackets, shorts, skirts and dungaree. I chose dungaree because there is a beautiful history behind.

First in 1792 as 'overalls' or 'overall trousers' = trousers worn outside the normal trousers in the beginning of the 20. century, overalls came in as protective garments for mechanics in the USA.

Women wore bib-and-brace overalls in the factories in England during the First World War in 1916.

In 1930's, overall trousers were used as comfortable children's clothes.

In 1960's - 1970's they became a high quality leisure wear.

Superdry's denim colletion is drawn in a pure style with authentic simplicity where each vintage garment becomes a delicate wrap for the body and mind. The beauty is allied to the real womanhood where the natural individuality brings the attention and persona drives the flow through the outfit. Ready for the festivals? This outfit representes woodstock-inspired tie-dye . A bit of a tomboy attutide creates the spirit you need to bring with you. Don't forget about BF's Dry Oxford dress shirt. There is nothing more comfy than skinny denim shorts 'skater' length suitable for extreme sports as well.

READY TO BE REBEL

Superdry women's Mini Sherpa Victory biker jacket. A classic biker style jacket in soft leather, featuring asymmetric zip fastening, zipped cuffs and two front pockets. This jacket also features a metal Superdry hem badge and is fleece lined. What is unique about every leather jacket is that they are all hand finished colour. The colour application on top of the hide results in a unique finish every time. This means all the jackets won't look identical.

 SUPERDRY  DENIM LOOK

Spring season is here and we have so many lovely outfits coming up. Cute 50' dresses, spring cotton jumpers, lovely classic loom dress shirts and brogues are ready for those who fancy vintage look for this season. This dress shirt is made of 100% Tencel which I absolutely fell in love with. Tencel ( lyocell ) is a recently ( as of 2010 ) developed artificial fiber. It is the only fiber to be invented in the last 30 years. Unlike polyester nylon, it is made not from completely synthetic polymer but rather from wood-based cellulose. It is made of wood pulp harvested from tree farms, it is renewable, enviromentaly friendly material.

BEAUTIFUL SPRING OUTFIT

This outfit has a really cool persona. The dress  has a simililar pattern as men's smart dress shirt. A Collar creates sharp 'domina' scenario but the rest of the dress is nicely finished with A shape. Sleeveless dress is in this case very easy and comfy to combine with spring jumper. Bright colour brings the fresh look of this season.
