I like that we have both Lestat’s perspective and an objective, factual perspective of what’s happening through the documentary. I think it’s really important for the storytelling because when Lestat tells us how something happened, we just have to take his word for it, but the documentary is a good way to relay to the audience nothing has been twisted, what you see is what you get. It helps with the continuity.

We didn’t get this advantage, you could say, with Louis’s retelling of his life with Lestat. For me the documentary is a perfect addition and it was a smart way to involve Daniel’s character as well.

**I also like when we simultaneously get Lestat’s perspective and the documentary’s perspective. It’s fun to visualize someone cross referencing the failures album to scenes in the documentary.
