I've never seen Supergirl but I am curious how Hamilton lyrics relate to the characters. I feel like I know them through your blog.

so in general I just want to say that the idea started gestating when the Supergirl show-writers started really leaning in on the aliens-as-refugees-and-immigrants analogy in season 2.

Supergirl & Hamilton = both immigrants? AWESOME.

Supergirl & Lena Luthor both burdened by family legacy? DOUBLE AWESOME.

Supergirl having the same number of syllables as Hamilton? HO-LEE SHIT!

so I started listening to Hamilton in the car and listening for lyrics that matched with characters and just… FOUND SO MANY???!!!

🐹 Petunia Update 🐹it's been a rough week with her health but feeling optimistic. Her breathing was labored and since last week and then she began to bleed from her lady parts Tuesday night. I really thought it was going to be the end for her knowing she's 28ish months old. My lovely vet felt she wasn't suffering or at the end quite yet and decided that antibiotics and fluids might do the trick. Well.., the bleeding stopped and she seems to be feeling better. We have a check up tomorrow but she seems a lot more comfortable. She still has a huge appetite and enjoys sitting in my lap so I hope she's got some more quality time left. ❤️We promise to post pics of the pups this weekend. ❤️#superham #petuniathehamster #cheeksandsqueakshams #syrianhamster #ethicalbreeder
