ive noticed this too and i have to wonder why people do that???? are they afraid they are going to get their sexuality confiscated by saying that someone theyre not attracted to is good looking. what goes through their minds. why. just why

SUCH A MYSTERY but I think part of it may be that they think/feel in some way that their sexuality has to be 'proven' in order to be valid? (not like a concious thought, more a kind of vague insecurity) Like if they admit that someone they're not attracted to is hella fine then somehow their sexuality doesn't 'count' as much as it would otherwise WHICH IS RIDICULOUS

also does this mean that they live in a world were they don't notice all the really pretty/handsome/etc people because if so that's a goddamn tragedy
