5 Reasons to Love Animals
Think about your pets at home. Imagine them doing their thing which you find really stupid yet adorable at the same time. Just the thought of it brings sunshine to your cloudy day, doesn’t it? There are a lot of reasons to love animals. If you are an animal lover, you are probably aware of what these reasons are. Our adoration to the animals goes beyond their physical aspects. Sure they’re cute and all, but there is so much more to them than just a loaded ball of cuteness. Below is a list of reasons why we love animals: Each animal plays a vital role in the environment If a species of animals become extinct, the rest of the chain suffers greatly. A postmodern example of this is the bees being listed as one of the endangered species. The alarming status of the bees has scattered throughout the media with remarks on how humans, other animals, and plants would suffer once they go extinct. Who would have thought that such a small insect could have such a massive impact on the lives of many? Animals have acute senses that help detect potential dangers and thus eliminate them Dogs have become a part of the security units to sniff chemicals and other harmful substances. Also, there has been an ongoing study about the “Superhero” mice — engineered to sniff out landmines (DNT and TNT compound explosives). According to studies, a two-man team can clear a 300 square meter field of landmines in the span of two hours with the help of rats. Usually, the job would take two days for two men to clear the field using electronic equipment. Service animals There are certain animals that help individuals with special needs. For example, service animals assisting individuals who suffer from blindness and or low vision by being their guide. Also, service animals provide support to individuals with mobility disabilities. Some animals are also trained to help people during a seizure. Animals feel Our emotional attachment to our pets is a special bond that helps us look out for each other. When we feel down, they can detect it and would come to your aid. Their sincere gestures of empathy pierce the walls we build whenever we are stricken with grief. Animals can love humans unconditionally Ever had an animal at home that you have grown fond of? Be it a dog, horse, cat, cow, or any other animals, they reciprocate the gestures of love. They have various ways of showing them. Even the most feared animals can learn to love humans such as lions and polar bears. There are lots of videos scattered on various social platforms showing that a loving friendship between humans and these “dangerous” animals is very possible. Animals are part of God’s creation and they are very much deserving of sincere love. To love animals is to show how much we care in all forms of life in this world. Hence, we have to show conscious effort to preserve the lives of animals, especially those that are endangered. So, learn to love them — it is not as complicated a love compared to a love shared between two unpredictable humans. Have you read my article about How to Build a Healthy and Strong Family?
