I have officially finished my masters, and I only have work to contend with for blocking activity. I would say I can get on most days, even if just mobile or every other day. Around Christmas it may be spottier, but it is for everyone usually.

I’ve played a religious character in a different rpg before, and honestly I really loved getting into the whole aspect of not only their devotion, but the struggle with keeping the faith when there’s so many things in the world to make you question believing in anything, not just religion.

Roman was the second child out of four, and even though he was the middle child, his parents were good at giving each of them attention. His parents were well off, and provided him with everything he could ever want or ask for. They were supportive in everything he did, and encouraged him to find hobbies. But even though his parents were giving, he still craved something more in his life. At the young age of ten, he decided that he wanted to be in the coast guard when he was older.

At the age of sixteen, Roman had a reputation in school, he was the guy that stood up for the outsiders. This caused him to get into several fights, and at the time of those fights, time seemed to slow down for him. However, he didn’t think anything of it, and assumed it was just adrenaline. He used that strength, and adrenaline, to push himself in training and when he was eighteen, he joined the Coast Guard. As an Intelligence Specialist, Roman went on several missions for the United States Coast Guard, and during each of these missions, he experienced time slowing down. As time went on, he was less convinced that it was adrenaline, and more convinced that somehow he was different than the others in his unit.

A few years later during a mission, even with the help of his ability to perceive things differently, his leg was badly injured. He underwent intense physical therapy to try to get it back to normal but after months of rehabilitation, the Coast Guard medically discharged him. Roman was pissed but he understood why they had to discharge him. However, he was stopped by government agents before he even made it off the station. They explained that they had been watching him for a while now, and wanted him to come with them to become a guard in their town. He took the job without a second thought, and never looked back.

LOGAN KINGSTON

Logan was the first guard that he was put on a shift with and he honestly didn’t know what to think of the guy. Normally, Roman is good at reading people but Logan was a hard one for him to figure out. Roman kept their partnership strictly professional for a while, until he found Logan and him the last two people at the bar one night. They made small talk, and it soon turned into an all night conversation. Logan is one of the only guards he trusts to have his back.

KRISTEN PARRISH

Roman and Kristen arrived at Lake Grimstone around the same time, and he was automatically interested in talking to her because of her prior career as an actress. He had never met an actress before and he wanted to know what all the hype was about. They’ve talked on several occasions and he wonders if she’s portraying her real self, or her movie star persona. He’s interested in getting to know her more, and possibly getting her to let her guard down. Although, now that he knows she is part of The Rising Power, he’s unsure if that’s such a good idea.

ETHAN PARKINSON

Ever since Roman arrived in Lake Grimstone, he wanted to test his power out more. Ethan offered to help him, and ever since then they’ve been training partners. At first, their relationship was strictly as training partners, but it eventually blossomed into a real friendship. Every now and then, Roman tries to strike up a conversation about Ethan becoming a guard but the other male quickly shuts it down. Roman doesn’t understand why Ethan is so against it.

BRIANNA REID

Brianna caught his eye the moment he met her. She was beautiful, and her working for the government only made him like her even more. He doesn’t show his caring side too often, but with her it seemed easier. His likeness for her developed into a crush. He prides himself for being good at not showing it, however, he’s wondering if that’s doing him more harm than good.
