I remember when I was watching the episode where Dodger made the report (or the episode after that. I don't remember) with my mum, and she pointed out how poorly Sighn handled it. Especially when he put his hand on Dodgers shoulder, without asking first, and not noticing how extremely uncomfortable Dodger looked, both with the look on his face and his body language.
Yeah, my sister and I were sitting through that entire scene waiting for him to take his hand off of him, like, Dodger was visibly uncomfortable. Not to mention the awful wording of “we stand behind you” like mate 💀
DODGER SAVAGE in HOLLYOAKS | 03.03.26
MIDNIGHT SPOILERS (7th-13th Feb)
[I Talk Telly]
Prince apologises to John Paul for dragging him into the situation they both find themselves in, but John Paul feels guilty for bringing Smithy into their lives. However, it’s not over yet.
Dodger tells Theresa about a new case he’s working on, an armed robbery of a confectionery shop. And later at The Dog, Dodger is alarmed to find out who’s behind the armed robbery.
When Dodger and his policeman colleagues turn up on their doorstep, John Paul and Prince are thrown into a panic.
I don't think Singh is corrupt, but he has to be the stupidest person in the station. If Dodger was working with Sully and Smithy, why would he have ever arrested them? No one else suspected Sully of anything. Singh loved him.
Almost everything that happened this episode is stupid.
Was that Prince taking steroids again?
Genuinely. I was joking when I kept saying that there was a chance Dodger would tell Singh the truth, and Singh would just assume he was lying to cover up that he was corrupt and working with Sully and Smithy. I did not think he could actually be that stupid, but alas. It makes absolutely no sense.
And yeah, agreed. Honestly, it kind of makes me wish they'd wrap this storyline up and move onto something else, because everything they add to it just makes it more and more ridiculous, and I hate where it's ended up.
I think it was? I think he might be taking them again to deal with his PTSD or something, I don't know.
Smithy was already trying the some made me do it and my life is at risk plea with Singh and he wasn't having any of it.
Dodger's history with Sully should mean Singh treats that differently, but he may not
Yeah, unfortunately I don’t see it going any better for Dodger than it did for Smithy, I feel like Singh just won’t believe him, he’ll be so intent on getting rid of all the corruption in the station that he’d be stupid enough to assume Dodger was part of it because of this

Overall I like the clip, but two things:
Why is Singh telling Dodger to hold his calls? Does he usually take Singh's calls lol?
Someone in the neighborhood surely heard the gunshots and called the police so even without Dodger's note, there should (but won't be) police showing up.
Me too, it wasn't bad!
1. That struck me as weird as well lol. Surely Singh has someone else to take his calls and not, you know, one of his highest ranking officers?
2. Yeah, that's a really good point and one that I'm sure the writers did not think too hard about, as you said lol
