I don't know, it kind of just sounds like they're trying to make us wonder if it's Prince or JP he's arresting. I want there to be an interesting twist, but I just don't think they're going to give us one :( Unless, of course, they're hiding Smithy in the house lol

Also, is Dodger not wondering what the hell happened with Prince? He was going to keep Myra and Goldie posted. If Smithy did anything dodgy to get Prince off, like deleting footage, then Dodger would have noticed.

And Sully said Prince was going to be let go later that day, so maybe Smithy didn't actually do anything, he was just released pending further investigation/trial. That would actually be hilarious; he's getting called a hero and Prince is following along with the blackmail when Smithy didn't do anything and has nothing to hold over Prince's head.

That’s a good point, I’m so confused. It sounds like Smithy didn’t actually do anything to get him released (which is absolutely hilarious) - he might still have disposed of evidence to make sure it didn’t go any further, but as you said, Dodger would notice. God, my head hurts just trying to figure out what is going on at this point.

I feel like liberty's date has to be a shock otherwise surely they'd just say who it is? Like I love Liberty but I doubt many others will be that invested in her love life or care lmao. I cant even think of anyone else who it could be. Is Prince single😭? Might as well have all 3 siblings dating a McQueen lmao. Smithy would make sense (and great angst potential for our Dodge) but watch it be way off 🤪. The timing is interesting with him now being a regular cast member as well though

Yeah, I think so too — I just don’t think they’re expecting us to have guessed it was Smithy because he’s so unimportant outside of the Dodger fandom over here lol. Prince is single as far as I’m aware, so that’s possible but boring 😭 Smithy really is the perfect option storyline-wise. Watch it be a wildcard and turn out to be Rex or something xD

UGHHH I really hope Smithy isn't closeted and they're going down the internalised homophobia route. I also don't want to see an attempt at redemption. He's a vile bigot, a massive tool and a misogynistic prick. It wasn't even like the shitty bigoted comments he kept on making to Dodger were just his way of detracting from his own insecurities. It seemed like he was getting a genuine kick out of harassing him

Genuinely, he’s just a dickhead and I want it to stay that way without any justification from the show (he can try all he wants, but as long as the show doesn’t let him away with it, that’s fine).
