Koi’s court needs to be kept in check, so what better gem to do the job than agates?
She keeps tons of them in her court as a measure against rebel gems. Each Agate was given her own set of rules to go by, and stationed in different places in Koi’s several colonies.
LS is only a newly emerged Agate, so she isn’t allowed to take charge of any gems. She is currently taking lessons from Superior.
Rhyperior is stationed in Koi’s asteroid field colony, and she handles a lot of matters regarding Koi’s “off colors” (defective gems, but not rebels in Koi’s case). She was told to be extra watchful of Mahogany and Topazo among other gems, as Koi believed she couldn’t be too careful when it came to Obsidians. Aside from that, she was also told to be a little harsher on defective gems than normal/prime ones, as a form of compensation for their issues.
Lake is stationed in Koi’s aquatic colony, and often gets overshadowed by her higher-rank counterpart, Ace (Agatized Coral). She was told not to get in the higher-up gems’ way, so she listened and just sort of faded into the background.
Superior was stationed on Koi’s frozen planet colony. She was told to hold her gems up to the highest standard, and is in charge of many prime gems under Koi’s court (like Bumblebee Jasper). She was told to educate LS so she could be the proper agate she was injected to be.
Inferior was stationed on Nericora. She was given the most agreeable gems and was told to keep her temper in check. Koi was afraid Inferior Agate would shatter herself due to her crippling habits, so she didn’t want to take any risks with her temper.
