ok but IMAGINE haru joining in on toph and aang practicing earthbending at the western air temple. IMAGINE haru being like O.O watching toph earthbend and being like "omg please. please teach me everything" imagine toph trying to not show how happy she is to have another earthbending buddy. i love it.
i know the gaang were under a lot of stress and sadness when they were at the western air temple but they wouldve still gotten into so many shenanigans and i feel robbed every single day.
i truly believe in my heart that haru learned both seismic sense and metalbending from toph (probably at the WAT - Haru is very earnest and respectful and Toph LOVES having this dude that is like 4 years older than her admitting that she is, in fact, much better than him) and teaches at her academy.
toph always gives him a hard time (more so than everyone else) but thats because a) she's toph, b) she has adopted little sister privileges, c) she sees (toph: i can't see anything) more potential in him than she does with most other people and d) the other option is admitting out loud that she loves him (as a brother) and likes having him around and she is not going to do that.
i'm a nanny and the 3 year old i watch told me very sincerely a few weeks ago "caterpillars make croissants." he meant cocoons and it was adorable. also the baby is starting to walk and the 3 year old get so excited about it.
SORRY THIS ANSWER IS SO LATE BUT THIS MADE ME SO SO SO SO SO SO HAPPY??? IM LOVE IT
"#oh my god #not a rumor about me but a rumor i started: #i convinced my whole grade level that this kid was gone because he moved to africa #it was an accident but everyone believed it #and so i never said anything #he came back two years later from i'm assuming home school #and i heard him yell 'why is everyone asking me about africa?' in the hallway and i just kept walking" SAR
okay i can explain.
so my friend and i sat across from each other in math. and our desks were right next to the empty desk of a boy named knighton. he disappeared from school and so we started writing little stories about him on scraps of paper and putting them in his desk in case he came back. all of the stories centered around him moving to south africa and learning how to train elephants and eating potato skins. couldn’t tell you why but that’s what we came up with. so whenever anyone would ask where he was, my friend and i would say “oh he moved to south africa” because it was an inside joke between the two of us. but people started to believe it and neither of us said anything. and then he came back when we moved to middle school and i heard him yell that he wasn’t in africa at all. and then YEARS LATER, like freshman year of college, my friends and i are hanging out and we’re doing that thing where we just talk about where people ended up and my friend megan was like “oh my god i heard he moved to south africa. that’s wild, huh?” and i screamed because that was the rumor i accidentally started in FOURTH GRADE. AND SHE BELIEVED IT FOR YEARS. no one knew it was me who started that rumor until after we had all graduated high school.
superiorbiscuits replied to your photoset: New posters for my classroom!
i mean they’re no 90’s library posters that say READ with various celebrities
thats true but what could fucking top that lol
literally though if i played marrying mr darcy i would not care about winning i would only care about marrying mr darcy (or on the slight chance i played as jane instead of elizabeth, marrying mr bingley)
haha same. if i ever played that game i'd want to be elizabeth (obvs) but i was kinda disappointed bc she and jane don't have any perks. caroline ,however, is the one with the best perks. lol

...you do know a 5k is 5 kilometers, not 5 miles? it's 3.1 miles
Yes, of course I know that 5k is 5 kilometers, I’m not that stupid. I’ve been taught pretty much my whole life that a kilometer is only a little bit longer than a mile. Of course, I know they’re not the same which is why I used “like.” I was being inexact. I was trying to pay you a compliment, because I think running a 5k is impressive regardless of how long it takes. And you still ran an 11 minute mile, which is still pretty fast, in my opinion. You don’t have to be such a condescending jerk just because I don’t know how to convert kilometers into miles off the top of my head.
ted saying "ain't much scarier out there than a creepy clown am i right?" and then them IMMEDIATELY cutting to rupert at the press conference had me DYING
lmfaooooooooooooo so true
