fuCKING FOLLOW THIS MEME????

To superjayland. I cannot respond to your fanmail, so here's a text post. Putting it under a readmore because it's long, but I suppose anyone can look at it if they wish. It's sorta sad, though. The "thank you" at the end goes out to ALL of you, not just superjayland.

Let me tell you a thing or two about my game-making.

I love to make games. It is one of my favourite things in the entire universe. If it wasn't, I would have been satisfied with UNKNOWN's popularity and quit. Actually, I probably wouldn't have posted UNKNOWN in the first place because I was so scared about it not being very good that I was terrified to put it on the internet where all 15 of my followers could see it. Granted, that number has grown to almost 550 and the quality of my work has deteriorated considerably, though people somehow still expect UNKNOWN-quality work from me.

The thing about my method of making and putting out games is that I do too much all at once. I've been known to put out games as fast as 4 months. UNKNOWN was a 2-year project, but after that, I began to rush. CLUELESS came out 7 months after I started development, and the number shrank from there. I started to rush. I started overworking myself to the point of dehydration, hunger, and exhaustion, and it shows in my work.

My games are deteriorating. I'M deteriorating. I feel like it's only a matter of time before it gets to the point where I can't put out quality games anymore, and the more I put out games, the closer I feel I'm getting to that point.

I love making games so much, and it's a very sad thought. But I've already accepted that I'm not perfect, nor will I be "popular" forever. I'm just spending my time until then as wisely as possible and trying my utmost to have fun.

We are closed because there are still confessions that need to be posted in our inbox. Once we hit a certain amount, we close until they've all been posted.

That being said, the blog is on a hiatus due to the busy schedule of the admin. I haven't had the time to really delve into the inbox.

Thanks bae. I remember going on the computer while AOL was starting up to play on the painting software so my mom could take her classes. Ah, good memories
