A/N: Based off of the song “Off to the Races” by Lana Del Rey ;) This was a beast to whip up! And I mean that in the best way. I’ve never listened to indie music and I was having a tough time interpreting it, so I turned to Google. I hope I incorporated enough of the interpretations for you to relate to this, love! This was pretty fun to write out and see in my head. Crazy stuff xD I really hope you like it ^.^
You rapped your packet of smokes on the palm of your hand, then plucked one from the pack and slipped it between your lips. Before you could find the lighter in your purse, one was thrust into your face by the guy who’d been eyeing you from the moment you walked into the gas station. He must’ve followed you out. He was tall and lanky and not your type. You gave him the stink eye and swatted his hand away.
“What’s the matter, baby girl?” Your rejection didn’t faze him.
“I’ll use my own butane.” You found the Bic at the bottom of your purse and lit up, taking a long slow drag and blowing the smoke in his face. “Get lost.”
“Don’t be like that.” He waved away the smoke and stuffed his own cigarette in his mouth, lighting it and leaning against the side of the building beside you. “What’s a pretty girl like you doing at this dump?”
“Waiting for my old man.” You threw daggers his way, but he didn’t seem to notice.
“When is he supposed to show up?”
“That’s none of your business, jerk-off.”
“C’mon, don’t you think we’d have a little time for a quickie before he shows up?” The man turned from the wall and started his advance on you. He put his hands on either side of your head and blew a cloud of smoke in your face.
“If you come one inch closer, I’ll cut off your balls.” You took another long, slow drag. You weren’t worried; you could see a man in a dark suit strutting across the parking lot just over his shoulder. He seemed like a black hole in under the setting sun and instantly strummed your heart strings. His eyes seemed to shimmer and his mouth was set in a firm line. You couldn’t get enough of him in that suit, but every time you saw him you couldn’t wait to get him out of it.
“That’s mine.” Crowley gripped the man’s shoulder and tore him off of you.
“Hey, man, it’s not what it looks like.” All of Mr. Quickie’s bravado left him and he raised his hands in surrender. “Just having a quick smoke with the lovely lady.”
Crowley plucked Quickie’s cigarette out of his mouth and crushed it under his perfectly polished shoe. “Smoke break’s over. Beat it.”
Before the man had completely disappeared around the corner, Crowley turned back to you and kissed your lips roughly. You blew a bit of your smoke into his mouth and felt him smile.
“My little starlet.” He whispered.
“Hey, baby.” You kissed him again, blowing the rest of your smoke through your nose.
“Ready to go?” Crowley twirled a lock of your hair around one finger.
“Pool party in Hell?” You brushed your cheek against his fingers. “Oh, yeah.”
“You’ll like it.” He caressed your neck. It was the first time he took you to Hell but you weren’t scared. In an instant the world rebuilt itself into what looked like an underground pool. The rock walls glittered a deep red and the pool itself shimmered a bright blue. Demons were already filling the water, splashing and howling like animals. Music came from nowhere, loud pulsing beats that made you sway. All eyes turned to you and your King as you stepped to the edge of the pool. Crowley was never one to take a dip, but you weren’t about to miss out on all the fun being had in the water. As he slunk back to the chair reserved for only him, a wide throne with velvety red cushions and shining black leather, you teased the bottom of your shirt. Knowing his eyes were only on you, you stripped down to a white bikini and threw your shirt to him.
He tilted his head and watched you with hungry eyes, “white looks good on you.”
You smirked and turned back to the water where two black-eyed body-builders held their hands out to help you in. The water was warm and the pool had no bottom to it. You splashed and drowned several demons all on your own, glancing back at Crowley to make sure he was still watching. He’d acquired a glass of something and sipped it leisurely, and his eyes never left you. When your legs grew tired from treading water, you slipped into the arms of one of the body builders that had helped you into the water. You knew how much Crowley hated it when other men touched you, and you watched from the corner of your eye as he stiffened in his chair. He knew what you were up to, but that didn’t stop you from pushing your limits. You wrapped your legs around the demon’s rock-hard body and stroked his cheek.
“Thanks for helping me in.” You said in a silky voice.
“Not a problem.” His hands were on your back, moving steadily downward. When he gripped your backside you threw a smug glance at Crowley. He seemed to have relaxed a bit and he raised one eyebrow. In one hand he held his glass, in the other a small chain dangled from between his thumb and forefinger. The way light danced off of it was a telltale that it was a gold necklace. He swung it lazily and nodded at you to ‘come here.’
“Think you could help me out?” You ran your fingers through the demons hair and bit your lip. “My old man has a present for me.”
He followed your eyes and paled upon meeting Crowley’s threatening glare. You were at the edge of the pool in an instant and Crowley was there to help you stand. Despite your dripping wet body, he pulled you close, claiming you in front of everyone by gripping your backside and kissing you roughly.
“You know better than to misbehave in front of me.” He whispered in your ear.
“Sorry.” You tossed your hair back and touched his scruffy cheek with your fingertips. “I just like to get your attention.”
“As if I could tear my eyes away from a prize like you.” Intensity burned in his eyes, mixed with hunger and love. He held up the chain. “Do you like it?”
The chain was indeed gold, and red tear-drop pendant hung at the bottom. “It’s beautiful.”
He gripped your waist and turned you slowly, running his hands along your skin. His fingers brushed the tip of your spine as he fastened it and you shivered more than once.
“Thank you.” You touched the pendant and turned back to him, pressing a warm kiss to his mouth. His tongue tasted like rich wine and burned like strong whiskey. Lips locked, he pulled you closer and led to back to his throne. You sat on his lap and he snapped for servants to bring drinks. One right after another you downed glasses of rich Cristal wine, savoring the taste on Crowley’s lips after each generous serving. Crowley held your hand, kissing it tenderly every now and again while the party raged on around you. The demons howled and screamed in savage delight, raising the hair on the back of your neck and sending cold shivers down your spine. Before long the crystal blue water was tinted with red- the demons liked to play rough.
“I like the music.” You closed your eyes and rolled your buzzing head. Another glass of wine later and you were on your feet, slowly making your way to a small congregation of moshing demons. The music was loudest there and you joined them. Throwing your arms in the air and rubbing bodies, losing your mind to the music and the beat. At one point you broke free of the group, dancing on your own, twirling and swaying, more than satisfied that Crowley was watching the show. He knew you were wasted, drunk on wine and his love, and a small smirk played on his lips as he made his way over to you. Standing at the edge of the pool, he took you in his arms and danced with you, listening to you sing at the top of your lungs to battle the roar of the music. None of the songs ended; they only melted their ends and beginnings together to create a never-ending track. Crowley moved his hands over you, delighting himself in the curves and crevices of your body, all while casting deadly glares at anyone who dared take a second look at you. You belonged to him, and you loved it when he let everyone else know it too.
“So, how’s this compare to Vegas?” Crowley pulled a gold coin from his pocket to play his favorite game.
“You know I’ve only ever been Vegas trash.” You rolled your eyes. “This is better than that dank apartment I have to go back to.” You searched his face. “How did a girl like me get so lucky?”
“I think that’s what I like about you, darling.” He smirked.
“You’ve gotta like something.” You sighed and rested your head on his chest despite the thumping beat that rocked the rest of the crowd. He put a hand on the back of your head and held you close, safe and secure in his arms. The music drummed in time with your heart. Every beat was dedicated to the King of Hell. He was the light of your life, the fire of your loins, everything you wanted. He smelled like cinnamon and tasted like scotch, a combination that drove you mad with love and lust. You weren’t afraid to admit that you needed him. He was everything to you and you wanted to be his just as much as he wanted you to be his.
He swayed with you until your drunk mind decided that you wanted another round of Cristal. Crowley didn’t object when you lead him back to his throne, in fact, he snapped his fingers and a silk red robe was draped over your shoulders in an instant.
“Leave it open.” Crowley instructed as the two of you sat down again, his hand on your thigh and his arm around your waist. You obeyed, relishing in the blatant desire he showed you. Rather than downing this glass, you sipped your wine and watched the throbbing mass of demons in the pool destroy each other for fun. At one point Crowley squeezed close and kissed your shoulder.
“Beautiful.” His breath was hot against your skin and it made you shiver delightfully. “Beautiful. And mine.”
“All yours.” Your body tingled happily, like it did whenever he claimed you like that. Other men were too scared to claim you, tell you that you were theirs, that they owned you- but that’s what you wanted. Crowley did own you. There was no doubt about it. You let him own you. You were his, and that didn’t meant that you were tied to a leash and would come when he called, although if he ever asked you to, you probably would; both of you were into those kind of games. But owning you didn’t mean he was your slave master. Owning you meant that he would protect you, love you, play with you, and treat you like first-prize. You were everything to him and he’d do everything to keep his prize in the best condition, and that meant the world to you.
Even if you wanted to, you wouldn’t have joined the crazed party, drunk or not. The water had turned completely red, no longer “tainted” so much as it was overwhelmed with red. The few demons that had been dancing by the music had multiplied into a full on mosh pit.
“So what do you think?” Crowley plucked a cigar from the small table sitting beside his throne and lit it with one finger. He took a long drag and blew the smoke into the air above, creating something of a dark halo. “Do you like a party in Hell?”
“Oh, yes.” You wrapped your arms around his neck and pulled yourself close, pushing your chest forward and he brushed his lips across the hollow of your neck. “I really like it here.”
Crowley’s lips moved to your collarbone and he smiled against your skin. “Good.”
He sat back and ran his eyes over you; he never could seem to get enough of you, and you wouldn’t want it any other way. He slipped the cigar between his lips and gave you that look: one eyebrow raised, a devilish smile on his lips, and every single desire he had shining like diamonds in his eyes.
“Hun, you’ve never looked so beautiful.” You touched his cheek and smiled. “My man.”
“My little starlet.” Crowley pressed your palm against his face and closed his eyes. With his other hand he took out the cigar and kissed your wrist. “Forever.”
