Today's October 9th Day 4 task for the #deweyoct #Readathon countdown photo challenge from @deweysreadathon was to share a #SupernaturalRead. As you may have noticed if you've been following me for awhile, most of my books are #SupernaturalReads! 😄🎉📚❤ . . . . So for this task, I took a picture of my #CurrentRead! I started Serpentine - it's supernatural! - by Laurell K. Hamilton yesterday. Read just nine chapters (77 pages). And because of how busy today was for me, I'm not going to be able to finish it tonight, either! 😭❤ . . . . Both of the photos in this post share the book with my Max. It's a library book, but I own the first 25 Anita Blake series books in mass market paperback format and I'll buy this one when it gets released in MMP size, too! 😍❤😍 . . . . I'm currently on page 135 of 486. I'd love to make it to the halfway point tonight, but I'm feeling tired so not sure I'll be able to stay awake that long. 😕 . . . . Today was a busy day: My morning was spent on the phone. Two back-to-back phone calls that took over two hours to complete in total. And my anxiety spiked so many times. 😭 . . . . Then this afternoon I had a mammogram and bilateral shoulder x-rays. And then Mom and I watched Monday Night's Football game and saw Drew Brees become the top quarterback at passing yards. More tears. But at least these were the happy variety. 😊❤ . . . . And now we're well into the evening. It's 7:50p here. He is sweet, understanding, incredibly hot, his love for his mate is boundless and the way he calls her "mine" or "moy malen'kiy voin" (my warrior) just melts the heart. Warrior let's you explore the world of Nicholas Danshov and you feel like you want to be a part of this world too. Hope you all enjoy reading warrior as much as I did. All hell breaks loose when she with her best buddies goes to a concert and attracts the attention of a stalkerish vampire, who becomes obsessed with her, as well a grey eyed lips licking gorgeous warrior, Nicholas Danshow, who churns the emotions within her that she never knew of. Is it a coincidence or her destiny that have got her on this path. The series is about family bonds, friendship, love and revenge. When I started with this series I immediately felt in love with the characters. Sara is a independent girl. She is one badass chick. This series portrays the need to give women independence and have enough faith in their abilities. With loved ones support you can conquer the world. The plot of the series though is based on Sara's life, but the remaining characters paints the story. There is sarcasm, LMAO moments, aww heart clutching moments, some tears, excitement and nervousness over the fights, I wanna kick his ass moments, God Nicholas so hot I need to fan myself moments, you go girl moments, and much more.
