Today I’ve taken the car across town to a garage where they will hopefully 🤞 be able to fix the remainder of the oil damage. I ran home with a few extra loops in to hit the mileage for today’s run. It was a good run, I’m definitely getting faster and fitter with all this training.

This afternoon I’ve been sanding down the bannister of our stairs so that I can repaint it tomorrow. We almost always use the gap between foster babies to do some DIY, and we’ve now renovated all the rooms that need doing so I’m turning my attention to touching up the paint work. Sanding was very satisfying actually. Last week I painted a wall, and this morning before the garage trip I touched up a bit of kitchen paint that had peeled off.

I introduced d1 to cooking super noodles this evening, in preparation for her student life. Are you even a proper student if you don’t eat super noodles at least once a week? She cooked them but d2 ate them. Lol funny daughters. d1 and d3 had pasta. H is out and I am going out later to book group where we will have takeaway curry. All this running builds up a fair calorie deficit so I am not feeling bad about two curries out in three days. [insert confusion about knowing I don’t have to earn calories or the right to eat but also knowing I need to replace the calories I use so eating more is acceptable??]
