To share a table with someone is to share everything.
raise your hand if you also think cb and dinah have hooked up before
To anyone out there trying their best to prioritize their own well-being: remember, you don’t owe anyone an explanation for the steps you’re taking to care for yourself. Your choices, your boundaries, and your decisions don’t require constant justification. You don’t have to explain every “no” you give. You don’t need to convince anyone why your refusal is valid. It’s not your job to provide a detailed reason for why you can’t show up, why you’re not in a place to do them a favor, or why you’re unable to respond at this moment. Your boundaries are yours, and they don’t need to be fully understood by others to be respected. Setting boundaries is an act of self-respect, and it’s okay if others don’t completely get it. What matters is that you honor your needs and protect your energy. Sometimes, the simplest response “no” is all that needs to be said. It’s enough. It’s valid. And it’s powerful. As you move through your day, remind yourself that taking care of your well-being is not selfish it’s necessary. You are allowed to protect your peace and prioritize your health, even if it doesn’t always make sense to those around you. Keep going. You’re doing something brave by choosing yourself. Wishing you a beautiful day filled with strength, clarity, and kindness especially toward yourself. You deserve it… 🍊
