I would like to know your opinion about the histories behind the sins of Nanatsu no Taizai. Well, the three ones that had been told at the moment (Ban, King and Diane) That and if you think that some sin will actually be guilty of something, because until now all their crimes are misunderstandings or they are not at fault.
Hmm. I can’t really comment all too in depth on all this. This isn’t a manga I consider myself an expert on. It was my initial impulse to say that this will probably be one of those things were the same trend holds true for all of them, which all of them not being truly guilty. And thinking about it some more... I actually still think that’s probably going to be the case. There are some complications in there, namely with Meliodas, Gowther. Both of them are apparently actually demons, so undoubtedly they have a sordid history. However, with Gowther having lost his memories, he’s essentially a different person than who he used to be. It’d be my guess that we’ll get to see the kind of person he was in the past, he’ll have an opportunity to rejoin the demons again, but that he’ll ultimately (even if he does seem to or actually betraies the 7 Deadly Sins) turn around and do that right thing. Basically the same goes for Meliodas. No matter what bad things he’s done in the past, I expect he’ll keep being a good guy.
So yeah. WIth Meliodas, Gowther, Escanor, and Merlin, I’m expecting them to all have some shady stuff in their pasts, which they actually did do. However, I’m expecting that all of them had understandable reasons for doing what they did, or failing that that they still make the decision to do the right thing by the end of the story (my saying that part mainly concerns Gowther). So yeah. Come the end, I’m expecting all of the Sins to stand in the position of helping defeat the demons and doing the right thing.
