The boiler was leaking in one of our properties and we had some plumbers take a look. The valve on the right was dripping, they went to the merchant who said for this boiler you had to buy the full set of valve and the cost was going to be £340 fitted. I wanted a second opinion so I called a plumber I had used before but he confirmed you had to buy the full set. But then he said I’ll see what I can do. He took the valve off and went to the plumbers merchant Plumb Center and low and behold he found one the same. Total cost inc fitting £60. This is above and beyond duty plumbing.
