;) do you take inspiration from anything for your in game sim storylines? for me sometimes it's music or my favorite books.

Thanks for the cool ask! I do take inspiration from all kinds of stuff tbh. Sometimes it's just small things, sometimes it's the whole vibes.

First of all, for every generation so far I've made a private spotify playlist with songs from the decade to get into the historical mood while playing or editing. I also make pinterest boards for my characters, but those are more inspired by them than the other way around.

For the current generation, I don't have a specific story influence other than general romcom vibes because it just made sense. Emma's personality is kind of inspired by my own if I was extroverted lol. That being said, I ended up putting a lot of my own personality into Niall as well, so that's a thing.

The next generation will take inspiration from one of my all time favourite tv shows, even though it has nothing to do with the 1940s lmao.

Oh, I also got inspiration for a part of the 1910s gen from one of my fave german books "all quiet on the western front". There was a part in the book where they met some girls in France, so that's where Lloyd meeting Lucienne came from haha.

Sorry for the long answer, I just love talking about my stories and characters a lot.

personally, i've had some trouble using it with certain skin details (i had to swap emmeline's skin detail body blush for the tattoo version here), but it's a very lovely and high quality piece of cc with unique swatches for different tear patterns!
