Today’s fic is a short and sweet little fluffy StephKara (or SuperSpoiler if we’re using the Supergirl tv-series ship naming conventions), about their first meeting, and subsequently falling in dorky puppy love with each other.
I’m currently doing a challenge where i have to write a fic every day of november, prompts and pairings are more than welcome, cause i’m sorta running out of ideas and still have a whole week to go.
“Hey I think you should let the lady walk in peace.”
“Why, you jealous dollface?” Steph shrugged, and ran at them why did pigs never learn?
1 supreme butt-kicking session later, and Steph went to check up on the girl the men had gone after. The girl had her hair in a ponytail, and was wearing a pink, fluffy cardigan that looked like it had been taken from the set of a 60’s sitcom. She also looked very nonplused about the whole ‘almost getting mugged’ thing.
“Hi! Thanks for the help, though I could have taken them on my own.” She looked like 1 of those modern day interpretation of Disney princesses buzzfeed kept writing articles about, Steph very much doubted that, and she let her expression show it. “Sure you could.”
“okay watch this!” The girl walked over to a nearby dumpster (it being Gotham, she more or less just had to take a step to the left), and lifted it easily with her left hand, while she waved at Steph with her right.
“Oh my god you’re a super hero!” Steph screamed in a not-very-menancing-and-batgirl way. “So are you! I’m Supergirl!” Supergirl did a little dance on the spot when she saw Steph wearing ¼ of a million dollars in gadgets. “I’m Batgirl, wanna go on patrol with me?” She asked with barely contained glee.
“Gosh would I!” In the time it took Steph to blink, Kara had changed into a blue and red ensemble with a cape. “Hold on tight!” Batgirl said as she wrapped a hand around Kara’s waist (feeling pretty smooth), and shut her grappling hook up on a nearby roof.
Steph was a bit disappointed by how unaffected Supergirl was by what she generally considered the best thing in the world besides pizza. “That seems handy, but watch this though?” She said grinning widely, before she took off flying.
Conceal, don’t feel, be cool, was the thoughts that passed through Steph head. Across her lips however came a low buzzing sound that gradually increased in pitch until it became a full blown squeal!
Supergirl could fly, that was the coolest thing in the whole world it wasn’t even a contest any more.

Having punched every criminal in Gotham, they went home to Steph’s apartment. She knew a 24/7 pizza place that delivered, and she could only agree with Kara that 4 in the morning was a great time for pizza. “Oh my god, do you have the full box set of Friends!” Kara squealed from the couch.
Friends was the greatest series ever made, Kara thought that there was no one born on earth who agreed with her, but Steph did! Even better she could help Kara quote all the scenes line for line, and sometimes she did this hilarious batman impression as voiceover for Phoebe.
Everyone usually hated when Steph did her batman voice for Phoebe, but Kara was laughing and crying, like she found it even more funny than Steph did. Even though Kara could lift a bus, she totally gave her a fighting chance for the last piece of pizza. Which wasn’t fair cause Kara had already eaten 3 times as much as Steph, and also ate the leftover curry Alfred had given her.
Kara wasn’t sure when she fell in love with Steph, probably around the time they downloaded a quiz app, and began battling in game of thrones trivia. All she knew for certain was that they kissed after Kara got to correct the app’s wrong answer, and Steph further cleared up the details!
Just as the sun was rising and they were both falling asleep Kara got an idea. “Hey Steph, do you want to go on a date tonight. With, with me? As girlfriends?” It had been a lot more seductive in her head. “Well, I sort of have to be on patrol, otherwise I would have loved to.”
Kara did her best to mimic the classic Cat Grant smirk. “See that was my idea too, we go out, have fun, and beat up some bad guys, it’s going to be fun AND romantic!”
Steph shut out of bed and struck a heroic pose. “CRIME FIGHTING GIRLFRIENDS TO THE RESCUE!” Then she immediately fell backwards into the bed, and they both began snoring loudly.
