Wholesome story time!: Tonight I went to a local goth shop called @superstitionboutique While walking around I noticed this jacket that I have had my eye for close to a year and a half. I make a comment about it to my husband but keep going around shooting pictures. There is a gentleman in the shop with his girlfriend, she is trying on a bunch of cute clothes. She is small and adorable. So while we are shooting the gentleman starts talking to me about my Nos costume and we have a good but short conversation. We talk about horror conventions and my costume. I give him a sticker and a business card. We finished taking pictures, say goodbye to everybody, and leave the shop. We are about 10 minutes from the shop and the shop owner text me and lets me know the gentleman and his girlfriend had bought me the jacket and left it there for me. I was blown away. As someone who has spent majority of their life in the alternative scene, Always being seen as a weirdo, it’s hard to explain to others how amazing this community truly is. I was lucky enough to track him down on Facebook and thank him. I’m incredibly appreciative and can’t wait until my time comes when I can pay it forward.
