New Chrome version with "supervised users"
As a means for parental control, the new version of Google's webbrowser "Chrome" comes with a feature named "supervised users".
Frankly in my opinion, it's a nightmare. If the feature is enabled, all sites visited will be logged by Google itself. They'll store your browser history on their servers.
In other words: Google won't need to track you (or your kids) via cookies or browser-fingerprinting anymore, you just give them the data voluntarily.
Chrome is nothing else than a spyware by Google. Better use the open-source version of "Chrome", named "Chromium", or Mozilla's Firefox.
Also better try to teach your children about internet risks, browse the web with them together, or block "harmful" sites using your router or a firewall.
But please: never spy on your children. They will adopt a feeling of constant surveillance. They will familiarize with being always under suspicion. That's the wrong way to go.
