Oh god... another superwholock. you are the worst kind of tumblr user. worse than bronies. worse than the steven universe circlejerk. worse than homestuck. worse than the sjws. you are literally the cancer of the internet. and jesus... fanfics? headcanon? gtfo now. you are fucking broken. you understand nothing. you have no grip on reality. your parents are embarrassed of you.
I was seriously expecting some comment about my WASPs post and this???
This is hilarious. I am unsure as to if this is a spam account, or something? I’m going to assume an actual human being sent it, though, and proceed accordingly.
Because–well, first, in order to be polite, hello Nonny!
I am actually sort of flattered that you’re that far back in my posts, honestly, because I’m pretty sure I haven’t posted any superwholock stuff in at least a year, probably two?
I admire your dedication. Also, thank you for thinking so highly of my posts that you went back that far. Again, I admire your dedication.
I don’t know much about Bronies, or Steven Universe, or Homestuck, so there’s not anything I can really say about that.
Personally, I think that pop-ups are probably the cancer of the internet, though perhaps broken links are. This is an interesting thought experiment I shall ponder later.
On fanfics: I regret to have to be the one to tell you this, but fanfic has existed in one form or another as long as stories have been told. People have written fanfic long before the dawn of the internet, and honestly when people act like fanfic is a sign of the coming apocalypse, it really just makes me think they aren’t fully aware of the history fandoms have played in pop culture. People wrote fanfic of Doyle’s Sherlock stories. Passion plays could be considered fanfiction of the Bible. Shakespeare’s work could be commedia del’arte fanfiction. Pride & Prejudice & Zombies is literally fanfiction that is being made into a movie.
Though you could be complaining about superwholock fanfiction I recommended? As I’m unsure, I’ll move on to your next point.
Headcanon is one of my favorite things ever. I don’t get why this is offensive. Are we not supposed to interact with the things we see or read?
gtfo? Of where? the internet? tumblr? the world? I’m confused. The internet isn’t exactly a physical place. Is this some sort of Schrodinger’s cat scenario?
On being broken: well, yes. that’s quite intuitive of you. As I am human, there is a certain amount of brokenness one can expect from simply living.
It’s also astute of you to grasp that I understand nothing. This is something I try to remind myself of often. There is so much that I do not know; the world is such a vast and strange place. I try to learn as much as I can, but sometimes I must remind myself that I know nothing lest I harshly judge my fellow humans who have lives and experiences I cannot possibly hope to know.
I have no grip on reality…since we’re talking about shows that take place in a fictional realm, this is probably slightly accurate.
To close, I think it’s strange that you end what is obviously supposed to be a hostile message with a compliment? One of my parents being ashamed of me is a life goal because my father is a terrible person. So if he thinks I’m terrible I’m actually probably actually a good person. I am unsure how you would have missed this desire of mine if you managed to make it all the way to my handful of superwholock posts, particularly since they were never very popular or tagged correctly. Unless you’ve been sifting through blogs in order to dish out hate, I don’t know how you found those…and is that really an efficient use of your time? wouldn’t you rather be getting mad about the Oscars, or politics, or seasonal menu items? Or better yet, finding posts about things you like?
I don’t get a lot of asks. Perhaps one every few months. I was really hoping someone wanted to discuss/yell/whatever about my post about the WASPs and how women were dumped from the early years of the space program, and I got this instead.
Just because the internet allows you to be anonymous doesn’t mean you have to be uncivil. And if you want to be uncivil, at least be mature about it and don’t do it anonymously.
