Ellison's yacht name spelled "I'm a Nazi" backwards

Larry Ellison named his 191-foot yacht "Izanami" after a Shinto goddess. Spelled backwards, it reads "I'm a Nazi."

Oracle billionaire Larry Ellison once owned a 191-foot superyacht named Izanami, after the Shinto goddess of creation and death. The vessel was designed by legendary architect Norman Foster and built in Germany. Ellison bought it in 1999 for $25 million. There was just one problem, as Futurism reports.

Sailors at Sausalito's Schoonmaker Marina noticed that "Izanami" spelled backwards is "I'm a Nazi." The German-built detail made it worse. Ellison quietly renamed the yacht to Ronin and later sold it to Venezuelan banker Victor Vargas.
