Supinfogame admission: success!!
Over the past year I've been unschooled, working free-lance at home to prepare myself for the entrance exam to the SUPINFOGAME school.
It's a school in Valenciennes, France, that is specialized in video games. Basically it's the nationally first-ranked school for video games, animation & entertainment here in France.
I applied for it last year but didn't get admitted >_<
About half a month ago I finally undertook the entrance exam again! And the results just came in:
I've been accepted into their Game Art major!! I ranked 10th out of 25 admissions, and from what I recall from the day of the exam, we were roughly 80/100 applicants for that major.
I'm so glad right now I've been stuck between.... crying, intense excitation and unbelieving stupor for the past hour and a half.
I know it's jsut a start, that I'll probably have to work my BUTT OFF to finish this major (it's 5 years long, wow) but yes. It's a start. It was a very hard first step for me and I'm incredibly relieved it passed.
Thank you to all my friends who supported me during this year (and suddenly freaked out with me on Skype and Facebook HAHA) you're all precious and I don't think I'd have done it without you all.
I feel so good. Fuck yeah.
