City Bird lunch break! #supinos #pizza #mmmmmmmmmmmm
As many of you know, Supino's has Detroit's BEST pizza...yes, it really does live up to the hype! But did you know their homemade Cannolis are just as noteworthy? Next time you go get a phenomenally tasty, airy, fresh Cannoli - a definite MUST!
Supino's Pizzeria - Eastern Market, Detroit, MI
Something I don't usually go out to eat for is pizza. I'm not sure why. Maybe because I'm not that picky and any pizza is good really, well okay, not any pizza. Unfortunately, I'm one of those annoying people that only like cheese or pepperoni pizza, not any of the crazy stuff, but maybe the occasional onion on top. But I like to think that I am the person to really be able to tell if a pizza place is good since there aren't many toppings! So really, I'm not annoying, you're welcome :) Anyways, Cameron and I took a trip down to Eastern Market to hang out with the hustle and bustle and I randomly said that we should sit down and have a slice of pizza at 3 in the afternoon, he agreed. Supino's is a little pizzeria with full of charm, inside is relatively loud but not in an obnoxious way, and the staff was really nice. He waited in line for a good while but when he came back with two slices of pizza that were bigger than our faces we were pretty happy. I had the cheese pizza and it was amazing, he had the special that had brisket and hot peppers which Cameron said was amazing as well. The dough was just so good along with the cheese which was full of flavor and even the sauce was just... sfivhieufvs... awesome. For only $2.25 a slice of heaven, I will definitely be going back soon.
