In the SuEstPol dynamic Berwald is definitely the neediest one. Feliks PRETENDS it's him because he likes the attention and likes to be a bother, but he can and has gotten along fine on his own. Berwald just gets lonely so easily and doesn't know how to express his feelings bc of his emotionally constipated self so he has a hard time initiating cuddles when he needs them.
Fortunately, Eduard in particular is well attuned to his needs. Feliks, while a little less aware at times, is also always ready to sit in Berwald's lap and hold him when he needs it, and is often close behind Eduard when he stops working at his computer to snuggle their boyfriend 🥺
