"Bergamot" by Supply Fi
New Track, Piano and Noise, Enjoy!
These are the stems to my track "Truncheon". Please do with them what you will. If you make a remix, send it to me in a message, either on soundcloud or [email protected] before August 1st, 2015 and I'll repost it and put it up on facebook and twitter. If I really like it I'll get in contact with you to discuss further. Have fun!

This is a new EP that I've been working on for the first few months of the year. These tracks were done on a laptop that was infected with ransomware, which if you’re not familiar with, is pretty nasty. Basically all media files get encrypted on your computer so you can’t access them anymore (unless you pay some random company an obscene amount of money, and who’s to be sure they will fix it). This created some hurdles during the process but overall made me think of new and creative ways to make and edit music. I did a lot of recording of the audio output of my laptop to a portable recorder and bringing the resulting mix into another computer for EQ tweaks. Any audio files could only be used once before they were encrypted, and any mixes I bounced I couldn't actually do anything with. Kind of fun actually. I have a new computer now but I think these 4 tracks work well together and they aren't going to be tweaked anymore, so they are what they are. Hope you enjoy it.
A couple months ago I met Ryan Lutton on the Ambient Music Forums and we decided to try collaborating on some music. Using dropbox, email, and soundcloud, we traded files back and forth and came up with this little tune here. It was my first experience collaborating with another musician on electronic music and we're both pretty happy with the result. We are planning on working together in the future on more music projects. Have a listen!
