Weathering:
* Stone washing [Stone washing is used to make clothing look well worn and used. This effect is for the entire suit or piece of clothing for the same damage/wear & tear throughout the entire article of clothing.](50$) (NOT A GOOD IDEA TO ADD AFTER PRODUCTION STARTS BUT IT MIGHT LOOK SUPER COOL IDKKK)(It is always done first at the beginning of production - it is more labor intensive)
* Filing/Sanding stress points [Includes cuff hems if desired](40$)
* Making holes to sew up by hand to close them, or to add patches of different fabric to. [The fabric may be placed on top of the hole, or under it. Doing it under would add more depth :3. (Faux repairs)(Can be any color crochet thread) (5$ per faux repair)(15$ with fabric patch hole)
* Burn holes (10$ per hole)(We actually burn it)
* Gunshot holes (10$ per hole)
* Knife slashes/cuts (5$ per 1 inch slash)

I like to tell a story through my art, where the character has been. What their history is. Favorite colors, phrases. What sort of quirks they have, maybe they lean every day against the side of their mech for a smoke. (Adding some extra wear and tear in the area that makes contact to the surfaces when leaned against). Adding wear to significant spots, pockets where tools are stored, maybe around the belt area. Back of legs and sleeves. Imagination is the limit!
Just think about what your pilot has seen, been through, where they’ve gone, who they are, what they believe in, favorite colors, unit and squad names, callsign, other designations, symbology, and whatever else you can think of.
The goal here is to bring the clothing your pilot would wear to life, and make your dream come true.
