I dont understand why people are so violently toxic in Comp. I was playing Mercy in a comp match with a four stack (my sister & friends) and we were paired with two other players. Into the third round this fine human messaged me saying "Wake Up". The whole game my friend was doing most of the damage and was being targetted hard so i tried to stay on them as much as i could. So when we were in our last round of the game i sent that pic of the uno reverse back to him since he kept dying and going off on his own as Reaper. His other friend, our other tank, did nothing. Absolutely nothing. So, when we made the final push and we secured the win, I was met with such crude and unnecessary violent language.
They left the game as soon as we won and didn't even make it onto the board. As a Mercy, even as a general healer, my job is to heal everyone and when the team isn't taking massage damage, then thats when I'll amplify damage for my DPS and Tanks or even get a few blaster kills. However, because our other tank didnt protect us, and our other DPS did little to nothing I was stuck on major healing and boosting damage duty. Treat your healers kindly, because if not for them, your entire team of damage is dead. When I choose to be a support character, its because my goal is to heal my teammates. If I wanted to go into the line of fire, I would have selected DPS or Tank. However, I know I'm awful at DPS and I'm not aggressive enough to push as a Tank. Sorry you can't accept the fact both you and your friend sucked at both 🤷♀️ but dont take it out on your healer for your own flaws and failures. Thats just how you end up not getting healed for a whole match.
I also spammed the "someone call the wambulance" line at him when I recieved the message of "Wake Up". He didnt appreciate it but the rest of my team did 🤭
TL;DR: Treat your healers with kindness and maybe they'll heal you if you're not shit at the game 🤷♀️
