Yes, poor people shouldn’t have kids.
But what does poor mean to me? There are different types of poor and people use the word differently.
A poor person is a person who will not receive help
A poor person is a person who will reject help
A poor person is a person who cannot change
A poor person is a person who uses excuses
A poor person is a person who blames everyone else but themselves for problems they cause
A poor person is a person who hurts others
A poor person is a person who cannot experience empathy
A poor person is a person who will not listen
A poor person is a person who doesn’t care how their actions affect others
A poor person is a person who will not help others
A poor person is a wolf in sheep’s clothing
A poor person is a person who uses others
Now you can say, a poor person; is a person who is financially unstable, or homeless, or whatever the case maybe. But for me? I climbed my way up out the dirt(adding support from my man and his family later on!) when my son was born, he put that fire underneath me to make sure he’s always happy. As we spend time together? He’s just his happiest being with family, money cannot replace that.
So when I say, yes, poor people shouldn’t have kids? I definitely am calling out the parents who shove an iPad on their kids and walking away and calling that parenting. You’re raising people who will be incapable of expressing basic human emotions or empathy and uses items as a means of emotional attachment. You are a poor parent.
