Do You Believe in Magic?
@vonvestra
When they had last spoke, Celica had mentioned of this highly skilled mage and if she approved, then he had to be good~ And maybe Mae was a little curious herself.
While her first idea was to check the classrooms, that seemed a bit too impractical, so she begins in the second most obvious place, the library.
No leads there, but she did happen to find this neat book. Which... wasn’t the purpose of going in there, so back to her mission it was.
There was absolutely no way she was going to give up just yet! Alright Mae, if you were a mage— No, scratch that, because you are, duh! If you were this guy, where would you be, if not the library?
The training grounds, of course! Surely even the most experienced needed to sharpen their skills every now and then. Upon arrival, it seemed there was only one guy in the field at the time, maybe he was an early bird. Or could this be him?
“Hey!” She waves and doesn’t wait a second longer to approach. Mae opens her mouth, but her words falter for a second. How could she be sure this was him? She had no clue what he even looked like! But she already initiated conversation, so there was no going back now.
“Um, you don’t happen to know someone named Herbert von Vestra?” Nice save. Or wait, no, that didn’t sound quite right. She holds her chin in thought. “Maybe it was Albert... Gerbert, Norbert?”
